Allianz is offering three coverage levels and consumers will be able to gain coverage through their website alongside price comparison websites.
Home insurance is the latest UK personal line from Allianz, after it rebranded its car insurance product in March and moved its personal insurance broker business to the Allianz brand in May.
The news follows the recent announcement of leadership changes at Allianz UK, where Jason Howard was appointed Chief Transformation Officer and Hanna Kam took over as Chief Risk Officer.
Serge Raffard, Managing Director at Allianz Personal, commented on the launch “We’re very excited to launch our new home insurance product into the UK personal lines market, and provide more choice for customers who are looking for great value protection for their home.”
