As Asia emerges as one of the fastest-growing construction markets over the next 15 years, Vincent Banton‘s appointment underscores Aon’s commitment to providing clients with the expertise needed to thrive in this dynamic sector.
Banton boasts extensive expertise in Construction and Erection All Risk policies, along with Delay in Start-Up for business interruption. His experience also extends to managing large infrastructure programs encompassing projects such as highways, railways, airports, bridges, deep foundations, and large reinforced structures.
In this role, Banton will report directly to Paul Young, the head of Commercial Risk Solutions, Asia, and James MacNeal, the global industry specialty leader for Construction and Infrastructure (C&I). Furthermore, he will become an integral part of the global C&I leadership team.
Based in Singapore, Vincent Banton will collaborate closely with local, regional, and global teams to formulate strategies and offer comprehensive services to clients across the region. His primary goal will be to ensure a seamless transition from project development to commercial operations, facilitating clients in navigating the complexities of the industry.

Banton brings with him an impressive 23-year career spanning the insurance and construction sectors. He has previously held significant roles at Munich Reinsurance, Balfour Birse UK, Leighton Contractors Australia (CIMIC), and Broad Construction Australia. Prior to joining Aon, Banton served at Zurich Insurance for the past five years, holding positions such as the national technical manager for Australia and New Zealand.
