The news follows Gallaghers’ recently discloser of its acquisition of Hartley Cylke Pacific Insurance, a speciality retail insurance broker in the transportation sector, just last month.
The acquisition, announced by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., is a strategic move to bolster its presence in Arizona’s insurance market. The deal encompasses not only The Coverage Pro but also its affiliated company, General Southwest Insurance Agency, headquartered in Phoenix. While the terms of the transaction remain undisclosed, the deal is poised to significantly enhance Gallagher’s standing in the insurance landscape.
Under the leadership of Scott Firestone, head of Gallagher’s Southwest region retail property/casualty brokerage operations, the existing team led by Jeff LaScala and Caily LaScala will continue to operate from their current location. This strategic acquisition aligns with Gallagher’s commitment to expanding its footprint and providing enhanced insurance services to clients in Arizona.
