The partnership will allow both companies to improve the cycling experience through the integration of competitive insurance within Bikebook’s innovative Workshop management system.
Ben Thompson, Chief Growth Officer at Bikmo, commented: “This partnership will empower both new and existing customers of Workshop by Bikebook to access world-class insurance coverage provided by Bikmo. With Bikmo’s commitment to safeguarding riders, their bikes, and the environment, coupled with Workshop’s user-friendly platform for bike servicing, repairing, and maintenance, cyclists can now enjoy a seamless and enhanced journey on two wheels.”
“Bikmo’s mission is to protect all riders, their rides, and the world in which we ride, and this partnership helps us take one more step towards achieving this,” Thompson added.
Bikebook was founded in 2021 and has established a network of over 1,100 registered local mechanics across the UK. With the support of Angel Investors, Bikebook has launched Workshop, an online platform designed to streamline the workshop management process for bike mechanics. Bikebook is endorsed by an Olympic gold medalist.
Workshop is designed specifically for bike mechanics and requires no extensive technological training. Workshop offers end-to-end solutions for business management, eliminating paper booking systems and outdated processes for invoicing and payments. Workshop also provides mechanics with an easier way to keep track of inventory and stocktaking.
Jake Fieldsend, Co-Founder of Bikebook, said: “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Bikmo, a pioneer in cycling insurance. Together, we are looking to improve insurance services for bike repair businesses and cyclists, offering a comprehensive solution that combines Workshop’s innovative management tools with Bikmo’s tailored insurance coverage.”
