She is also involved in the financial services industry as a member of the American Council of Life Insurers’ Executive Committee and chairs the board of the Alliance for Lifetime Income.

LIMRA and LOMA, represents over 700 insurance and financial services companies across 63 countries. Chris Blunt, CEO of F&G, was elected Vice Chair for 2025 and is set to succeed Feeney as Chair in 2026.

Speaking about the new appointment, she said: “In a time where customer and client needs, preferences and challenges are rapidly evolving, there is no question that the power and leadership of our industry is needed now more than ever before. LIMRA and LOMA continue to serve as an important industry convener with invaluable insights, peer-networking, and industry-led shared solutions.”

Feeny went on to say that the widening protection gap and the changing needs, preferences and challenges of customers and clients will continue to have the biggest influence on the industry’s growth.

“Addressing this will require innovation, capital and creativity in protection solutions and in how and where we meet our customers,” Feeney said. “Another factor is longevity — as people live longer, they will need to adopt new ways and utilize new tools to prepare for their futures. At Prudential, we believe that living a better life longer should not come at the cost of quality of life.”

David Levenson, president and CEO, LIMRA and LOMA added: “Caroline and Chris are extraordinary leaders who have been strong advocates for our organisation. At a time of great industry transformation, we will benefit from their leadership.”
