Casey Kempton Begins New Role as Leader of Nationwide’s Personal Lines Business
Casey Kempton has begun a new role as head of Nationwide's personal lines property business.

Kempton, known for her proven track record of success in both personal and commercial lines, has assumed the new role reporting directly to Mark Berven, Nationwide’s President, and Chief Operating Officer for Property and Casualty.

Kempton’s extensive experience and leadership qualities position her well to steer Nationwide’s personal lines property business towards continued growth and excellence. Her appointment underscores Nationwide’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and solutions within the personal lines insurance sector.

Kempton joined Nationwide from Chubb, where she held the position of Executive Vice President, Digital Business Officer. In her most recent role, she was responsible for overseeing emerging small business digital acquisition channels, including direct-to-consumer affinity partnerships, eBrokers, and agent-carrier connectivity. Prior to her tenure at Chubb, Kempton led the personal lines agency channel at The Hartford, where she managed field sales performance, distribution strategy, marketing, and product portfolio management.

She also served at the ACE Group, where she held responsibility for global personal and commercial lines, in addition to overseeing operations and information technology for the Latin America region. Earlier in her career, Kempton worked on P&C strategic initiatives at The Hartford. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
