Previously, COGITANDA’s core offerings were tailored to businesses with turnover up to €100 million annually. The new customer segment will benefit from policy limits of up to €7.5 million for cyber damages.
To support this expanded offering, COGITANDA has partnered with two insurance leaders to bolster capacity: Everest Insurance, a global insurer, and IQUW, the specialty (re)insurer Lloyd’s Syndicate. Both companies hold S&P Ratings of A+.
Existing companies with turnovers up to €100 million will see no changes. Coverage for this customer segment will continue to be provided by the German insurance groups Württembergische, SV Sparkassenversicherung, and Versicherungskammer Bayern.
Jens Lison, CEO of COGITANDA Data Protect AG, commented: “It’s a significant win for us and our clients to now count Everest and IQUW among our key capacity providers. Together, we will continue COGITANDA’s successful expansion across Europe. Through these partnerships, we do not only broaden our offering, but also make our services accessible to a wider customer base.”
“Looking ahead, we are committed to further strengthening our leading position in the cyber-risk sector and expanding our insurance portfolio nationally and internationally through strong partnerships. COGITANDA will continue its path for profitable growth,” Lison added.
