Cover Genius has reached its milestone of selling over 25 million policies, ensuring the safety of more than 14 million customers.
As major digital corporations increasingly favor embedded solutions over traditional insurers, Cover Genius has emerged as the world’s largest provider of digital protection. To accommodate its continued growth, the insurtech has expanded its executive team, appointing former Google executive Kyle Keogh as the Chief Business Officer for the Americas.
In his new role, Kyle Keogh will oversee profit and loss management, business operations, and strategic planning for the North American and Latin American regions. Keogh brings a wealth of experience, having held various leadership positions at Google for over a decade.
During his tenure, he collaborated closely with clients to enhance sales performance, strengthen brand reputation, and optimise product launches. Prior to his time at Google, Keogh served as a Director of Business Transformation at IBM.
Keogh commenced his career working with technology and telecom clients at McKinsey & Co. and JP Morgan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College, studied at the London School of Economics, earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and obtained an MBA from Dartmouth College and remains actively involved in educating and mentoring MBA students as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU’s Stern School of Business and serves on the Board of Chautauqua Institution.
New interim Chief Business Officer for EMEA and APAC
Meanwhile, Barney Pierce has been appointed as the interim Chief Business Officer for EMEA and APAC, responsible for the same duties across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Additionally, Darcy Rittinger’s role within the executive team has been expanded to Chief Risk Officer.
