FifthWall Solutions, a Pennsylvania-based cyber insurance wholesaler, has successfully raised $5 million in Series A funding to fuel its growth.
The company, which was founded in 2016, specialises in helping clients navigate the complexities of cyber insurance, understand security risks, and enhance their overall cybersecurity posture. Through partnerships with over 50 insurance carriers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), FifthWall offers tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of businesses.
In addition to securing new funding, FifthWall has made significant leadership appointments. Cole Knuth has been named the new CEO, bringing a wealth of experience from his time at Pax8, where he helped scale technology companies and drive strategic growth. Joining him is Gene Stevens, who has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Stevens, a co-founder of ProtectWise, has an extensive background in network security and product innovation, including senior roles at Verizon.
Doug Wright, who has served as CEO since 2015, will transition to Chairman of the Board. During his tenure, Wright oversaw FifthWall’s rapid growth, doubling its workforce and solidifying its position in the competitive cyber insurance sector.
The company also announced two new board members: Richard Garman and David Walsh. Both bring decades of expertise in financial technology, capital markets, and enterprise technology investments, further strengthening FifthWall’s leadership team as it embarks on its next phase of growth.
