The cloud-native platform is intended to support the efficient delivery of insurance products without requiring disruptive system upgrades.
Policy with Active Delivery is powered by the Azure cloud, which provides automatic product updates twice a week, allowing insurers to maintain uninterrupted operations. These updates are “feature flagged” allowing insurers to activate them at their discretion.
Additionally, Policy with Active Delivery offers low-code configuration tools and an integrated development environment, further enhanced by pre-built content for various insurance lines. These services will allow insurers to bring products to market quickly, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
Jess Keeney, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Duck Creek, commented: “We are thrilled to introduce Policy with Active Delivery, a game-changing solution that sets a new standard for policy administration in the P&C industry.
“With Active Delivery, insurers can free their IT resources to focus on innovation, rather than maintenance, and respond to the evolving needs of their customers and agents with speed and agility. Policy with Active Delivery is the ultimate expression of our vision to simplify insurance technology and empower our customers to achieve their business goals,” Keeney added.
The product features rules-based processing and also offers omnichannel access to meet users’ self-service needs.
The launch follows the recent hiring of Chief Marketing Officer Bindu Crandall. At the time, she said: “Duck Creek is a visionary company that is transforming the way insurers operate and serve their customers. I am impressed by the company’s culture, products, and customer-centric approach. I look forward to collaborating with the talented Duck Creek team and partners to amplify our brand, engage our audiences, and drive business outcomes.”
