The launch marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to bolster its presence in the Asia Pacific region. Operating under the name Everest Insurance Australia, the newly established entity will have offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
Everest provides insurance products that address the need for customised risk solutions across various sectors, including property, casualty, financial lines, professional lines, as well as energy and construction.
Heading the Australian operations is Christian Colombera, appointed as Managing Director, Australia, and Head of the Pacific Region. Colombera will lead a team of seasoned regional underwriters dedicated to meeting the evolving needs of corporations across the Australian market.
The expansion into Australia underscores Everest Insurance’s commitment to providing tailored insurance solutions to clients in key global markets. With its strategic positioning in Sydney and Melbourne, the company aims to capitalise on opportunities and strengthen its foothold in the dynamic APAC insurance landscape.
