This addition completes The Green Insurer’s Panel which is dedicated to supporting drivers in reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco-friendly driving practices. Ageas’ inclusion is set to enhance The Green Insurer’s capability to offer attractive deals to motorists who prioritise sustainability.
Ageas’ partnership with The Green Insurer is a natural fit with its ongoing commitment to sustainability, as seen in its “repair over replace” strategy and the use of green car parts in vehicle repairs.
Paul Baxter, CEO, The Green Insurer, said: “We are delighted to have Ageas, one of the largest
personal lines insurers in the UK, join our panel of insurers. We continue to see strong demand from
motorists who are concerned about the environment and it is important that we offer the most
competitive deals to support them. Adding Ageas helps us to ensure that we find the best prices
possible for customers.”
Ben Travis, Strategic Portfolio Manager at Ageas UK, commented: “The Green Insurer is offering a
proposition that helps customers make more sustainable choices and we’re happy to be working
with them. This new partnership is further testament to our commitment to brokers trading in
personal lines insurance.”
The Green Insurer has teamed up with around 70 companies to offer rewards and discounts, including major retailers like ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Iceland, and Morrisons, as well as others like Clarks, Harvey Nichols, Halfords, Habitat, and Waterstone’s. Restaurant chains such as Zizzi, Ask Italian, and Café Rouge are also part of the programme.
The company’s offerings include eco-friendly products such as eco laundry capsules, eco clothing, reusable coffee cups, and refillable natural deodorant. The Green Insurer has also announced plans to expand its rewards programme and bring on additional insurance partners in the future, with the potential to branch out into other types of policies.
