According to reports, the acquisition will bolster broker’s healthcare capabilities.
Based in Chicago, Illinois, Hub International Limited offers a range of risk management, insurance, employee benefits, retirement, and wealth management products and services.
The terms of the transaction have not yet been disclosed, and the news follows on from an earlier announcement that Hub has announced the acquisition of Quebec-based firm, D’Onofrio Insurance Inc. (D’Onofrio Insurance).
As part of the agreement, Monty Dise, the president and owner of AP Group, along with his team, will join Hub Mid-Atlantic.
This strategic move is aimed at enhancing the healthcare practice at Hub by leveraging AP Group’s expertise. Post-acquisition, AP Group will be rebranded as AP Group, Inc., a Hub International Company.
The development follows Hub’s recent acquisitions, including the finalisation of the deal with Oregon-based Great Basin Insurance. Additionally, the private client practice has been reinforced with the appointment of Eric Showalter as senior vice president and head of service and client experience.
