Lloyd’s Veteran Appointed as Head of St. John’s Risk Management School
Hank Watkins, regional director and president of Lloyd’s Americas, is set to take on a new role as the executive director and associate dean of St. John’s University’s Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science. 

His appointment, effective November 1st, follows the retirement of Brandon W. Sweitzer.

With a distinguished career spanning over a decade at Lloyd’s of London, Watkins brings a wealth of experience to his new position. Prior to joining Lloyd’s in 2009, he held prominent client management and leadership roles at Chubb Ltd., Johnson & Higgins, Marsh Ltd., and HRH.

According to reports, his new role comes as part of a series of leadership changes at Lloyd’s, with Dawn Miller recently announced as the new chief commercial officer of Lloyd’s and CEO of Lloyd’s Americas, effective September 1st.

St. John’s University’s Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science stands to benefit from Mr. Watkins’s extensive industry knowledge and leadership as it continues to educate and train future professionals in the field of risk management.
