Fast-growing digital insurance agency Mylo was named a Gold winner as Most Innovative Company of the Year and a Silver winner as Insurance Company of the Year in the 12th Annual 2020 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards. The global awards program honored insurtech leader Mylo for its proprietary insurance recommendation technology.
The Golden Bridge Awards program honors exemplary business and innovation achievements around the globe. Judges representing a broad spectrum of industries worldwide participated in the selection process, and their average scores determined the winners. Winners will be recognized in a virtual ceremony this month.
Mylo received two significant awards in the insurtech space for revolutionizing insurance shopping through the Mind of Mylo, a proprietary technology that taps into 50+ years of insurance expertise to equip small business owners and individuals with the right coverage at the best value. A key feature of this platform is a patent-pending recommendation engine that generates coverage recommendations based on the specific risks of a business and matches those with carrier appetites to offer ideal policies.
“We’re excited to be recognized for Mylo’s technology platform,” said David Embry, Mylo CEO. “The Mind of Mylo has allowed us to emerge as a fast-growing industry leader who provides small business owners with the expert solutions they may not find on their own. Our customers who start businesses have so much on the line. They may not have the time or resources to figure out what risks they should prepare for and what unnecessary expenses they can avoid. Our recommendation engine lets them feel confident they have the coverage they need so they can focus on building something great.”
Mylo was launched by the world’s largest privately held insurance broker Lockton Companies in 2015. On top of Lockton’s ongoing commitment, the global firm Guggenheim Partners is an investment partner. Mylo was named to Insurance Business America’s 2019 Hot 100, recognizing innovators transforming the industry. They also won placement on the 2018 Techweek 100 as an Innovator and 2017 Techweek 100 as a Rising Startup.
