To spearhead these efforts, the company has appointed industry expert Marijke van Berkom as Head of France & Benelux. Van Berkom will support clients and brokers across the region, building on Resilience’s established presence in the UK, Southern Europe, Ireland, and the Nordics.
With a focus on cyber risk management and loss prevention, Resilience will provide up to €10 million in cyber insurance coverage per risk, available on a primary or excess basis. This expansion is supported by existing partnerships with HDI Speciality Global and RSA UK & Europe.

He highlighted the company’s innovative approach to translating security and IT risks into financial terms, allowing businesses to manage these risks as they would any other business threat. Hariprasad emphasised the relevance of this approach in Europe, where cyber-attacks continue to escalate.
Marijke van Berkom brings over a decade of insurance experience in the French and Dutch markets. She most recently worked as a Professional Indemnity and Cyber Underwriter at Chubb, based in Lyon, where she specialised in underwriting for the technology sector. Prior to Chubb, van Berkom held key roles at AXA XL and ACE European Group, focusing on Casualty and Professional Indemnity for the Benelux region.
This strategic expansion aims to further strengthen Resilience’s presence across Europe, providing tailored solutions to meet the growing demand for cyber risk management in the region.
