Mantero, who joined the insurer in 2016 and is now chief financial officer for commercial insurance, will report to Chief Executive Mario Greco, the group said in a statement here on Tuesday.

His new role will involve oversight of all strategy resources globally and aims to strengthen coordination and collaboration between the wider group as well as regional offices.
